Frenchgate Shopping Centre is Doncaster’s premier shopping and leisure destination, welcoming thousands of visitors every day. In previous years, the centre had hired its Christmas decorations, but for 2025 the team wanted to explore a more cost-effective long-term solution.

With a set budget in mind, they approached us to design a festive display that would allow them to purchase their decorations outright while still creating a memorable Christmas experience for shoppers.

The shopping centre features large open spaces and high ceilings, so our goal was to create impactful focal points that would capture attention without exceeding budget.

We selected a combination of striking yet practical decorations from our range, including:

• Clusters of elegant eight-pointed stars to create visual impact across large areas
• Giant inflatable baubles (70cm) to add scale and festive colour
• Light curtain displays suspended from the ceiling to fill the vertical space with sparkle
• Colour-changing illuminated sphere, allowing the centre to easily adjust the atmosphere at the press of a button

Every product was chosen not only for its visual impact but also for being cost-effective and straightforward to install.

Frenchgate’s in-house maintenance team handled the installation themselves. To ensure everything ran smoothly, we provided clear guidance and an overview of how best to position and utilise the decorations to maximise the overall effect.

The result was a vibrant and festive environment that delighted both the centre’s team and its visitors. By purchasing their decorations instead of hiring them, Frenchgate Shopping Centre also achieved significant cost savings while investing in displays they can enjoy for years to come.
