Early in 2026 we decided to improve our photography area, so that we could do more than simple product shots. Our main aim was to come up with a series of images that would give some sort of insight into the huge range of possibilities our products offer in terms of different looks and styles. This picture was our first effort, designed more as a test shoot, but we loved the outcome!

We chose a classic red and green theme for this picture, along with traditional warm white Elements Range fairy lights. These colours have apparently been associated with Christmas before it was even Christmas, while the idea behind the shot is a generic reception or waiting area dressed up to make a festive impact that really stands out from the crowd. I wonder if I can persuade my dentist to dress up their waiting area like this, prior to my december check up?

We chose a 8ft Koster Pine Christmas tree for this shoot – once fluffed out, this tree has full strong foliage capable of taking a lot of decoration and lights. In this case, we used 40m of lights, and if you are looking to see the tree from 360 degrees, you’ll need close on 100 baubles – slightly less if it is against a wall. For both the tree and the suspended baubles, we used a mix of matt and shiny variations up to 300mm diameter (1ft approximately).
